Let yourself be taken in by the magic of Tuscany - right here; follow its soft hills to the small, medieval villages and into the woods of the mountains.

Watch the red sun rise in the morning, take a stroll up to Sassofortino to buy fresh panini salate and enjoy a long breakfast underneath the shade of the grape vines on the terrace.

Here you will become a gourmet cook if you appreciate good food and are in the mood to cook your own leisurely lunch in the country with the finest breads and cheeses from Sassofortino, extra-virgin olive oil and estate-bottled D.O.C. wine (both can be bought at the house).

Please feel free to use the abundantly growing herbs such as sage, rosemary and basil as well as chilies to add to your meals for a true Tuscan flavor! Or use the fruits of the plum-, fig-, pear-, or apple trees for a delicious desert! The guests are also welcome to use the fresh fruit growing in our small garden.

Relax at the pool, soak in the sun, take a walk through the forest and look for wild-boar tracks. At night you can gaze at the stars in the crystal clear sky and discover new constellations. During the day you can choose from an endless list of splendid towns to visit in the Tuscan country side (more on Location). You will reach them driving through sunflower fields and giant pine tree alleys.

La Carpineta is a working farm. We produce wine and olive oil here. You might be able to hear faint tractor noises in the background, but the farmers pay close attention not to disturb the guests.
